One Man Killed in Hit-and-Run on McLaughlin Avenue

San Jose, CA (6/15/2020) – San Jose Police are investigating a hit-and-run that left one pedestrian dead early Monday morning. The incident occurred around 2:02 a.m. on McLaughlin Avenue near Algiers Street.

According to police, an unidentified man was attempting to cross the street when he was struck by a vehicle traveling south on McLaughlin Avenue. The vehicle immediately fled the scene of the accident. Emergency responders transported the victim to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.
